Thank you for all the picture images of the flower which I had already found in images, but what I am needing now is to locate a pattern to make a free standing on to add to my collection, and maybe go inside the glass dome. I haven't found the missing book yet as I have been soaking in the bath:-) We were shown an item on the local news recently where a west country hospice (in the UK) had commissioned the same company to make some forget me not flowers who created that fabulous display around the tower of london but no where near the same numbers. A very pretty display over the next month but I have been asked to make one in Bobbin Lace in memory of a special lady. All or almost all the pictures people sent me show what looks like a white star in the middle and I am not sure if it is artistic license, or a lighter shade on the lower outside edges of the petals. I dont think I have ever been close to them as a flower and only in picture form.

I have been asked to make a forget me not in bobbin lace and so far I
haven’t found one specifically labelled that in either of the two books I
have that I can lay my hands on at the moment. I need to hunt for the other
one and haven’t yet had enough time to do that. I have the idea of the
petal shape even if not actually mentioned as that but the images I have seen
of the flowers themselves seem to show a ten point white star shape in the
centre before the lump thing (not very technical and my memory is not finding the word I need, so sorry). Has anyone seen the right sort of shapes in any
of the lace books to help my search please.
Thank you for any help in advance.
