Enjoy working on the gingham check cover on your pillow, Chris!
I had not done Free lace - until I took the metallic Early Laces class with
Gil Dye last year at Convention!
Gosh! It really stretched my mind, as I have always had a pricking to work
on. Gil gave us graph paper to work on (with fabric below it.) although on
the first morning we had to work just on the pillow - no prickling , no
graph paper, - Nothing - just the 'naked' pillow! That spaced me out!!!!!!!
:)
I found the graph paper type 'pricking' was hard to cope with, anjd it took
me a long time to get used to working out my own spacing on it, - but I
understand the 'therory' now - I just find putting in to practice a bit
hard! Having a ready-made pricking to work on is much easier!!!!
Just depends on what you get used to, I suppose. I am SO glad I took the
class, though. It was Fantastic.
