Marianne Gallant - We, here in Australia, have the same problem with the
currency exchange rate. Our dollar is falling badly at the moment, against
most currencies, so buying any books or threads etc. from overseas becomes
very expensive.

In the UK, the Book Depository is a good place to look. They do Free Postage
though out the world, - and I have been happy with their service, the once I
bought a book from them.
Also the German company Barbara Faye books. They charge a flat rate of €5 for
any sized parcel of books, and are reliable. I sent my card number split into
4 separate emails, and there was no problem. They were quick to get the book in
the post, as soon as they got the 4th email. - Same day, in fact! I know
others here, who often shop there.

My Guild of Needlelace Membership is coming up in a couple of months, so I
hope the pound and the Aussie dollar are closer friends than they are at the
moment!!!
Luckily I got the UK Lace Guild membership paid before things went too far
downhill!!!

Regards from Liz in Melbourne, Oz.
