Thank you Cindy, Noelene, Brenda & Jane! Brenda, I've made a note in my book.
I do recall there was a previous discussion of Lizbeth threads so I should have
referred to the archives first. Too late in the day & too many miles (on me)
after attending our LOL program in Ohio. Mea Culpa! Thanks Cindy & Jane for
adding suggestions on using these threads & others for bracelet projects. At
this point, we are planning to use Oneida Lace, Summer 2008 for the base
pattern so I'm assuming this was in the Bulletin. One of our very talented
members devised an ingenious start & finish so we should be good to go as soon
as the final threads are selected. The test strips we made yesterday involved
a variety of beads; #6 "E" beads worked well & are readily available in a huge
variety of colors to complement our threads. We need a bit more refining
before we provide "expert" guidance to the Scouts & only have two months to get
ready. Even our tatters learned to make the bracelets !
so they can lend a hand--we are small but we are mighty! Thanks again for all
the help & mentoring! Sincerely, Susan Hottle, Erie, PA USA
