Hello All! I am bringing spider confetti for any Arachnean who wants to glue one on their name tag. The glue stick is packed! Is anyone arriving early on Sunday at Cedar Rapids? My plane, if it's on time, arrives at 9am & I would be willing to share a ride to Coralville. Please contact me off list if you want to coordinate--I have a reservation. I checked with the hotel today to see what options are available if the lobby gets too crowded or people watching is not my cup of tea. The hotel does have a locked cloak room to securely stow my luggage until my room is available. The fitness center will be available with a confirmed Rez even if I'm not yet checked in because of the other convention. The gentleman I spoke to indicated that the other group is expected to be on the rowdy side & the local shuttle will not be running until sometime in the afternoon. Coral Ridge Mall is on the shuttle route when it is running. There is a Von Maur shop & some boutiques & a wine! store within walking distance.
