I loved all the goodies I received. Lacemakers are such a delight! I've never seen such tiny hair bands. I do keep some in my lace tool box to group bobbins, but mine are more than twice as large.
I also keep small safety pins on hand to link the spangles of two bobbins when I am working in a new bobbin to replace one which is running out of thread. I also do this in Chantilly when pairs need to be carried with the gimp. My newest delight is to use tiny butterfly clips to group the threads from idle bobbins. I keeps them from catching on things and I can see at a glance which are for the motif, which for the trail and which for the header, etc. Judy in sunny and hot South Louisiana On Wed, Aug 5, 2015 at 4:48 PM, Web <[email protected]> wrote: > I use them on sewing machine bobbins to keep them from unwinding. > Liz R > Raleigh, NC, USA > > > > Begin forwarded message: > > > There is a tiny packet of fuzzy, stretchy bands (2 blue & 2 > >> yellow) & 2 miniature safety pins.
