Hi Nancy, I heard from the programmer this evening - he told me that he'd found your emails to him.....they had ended up in his spam box!!!
However, as you've found the trick of selecting lines and I hope my explanations about editing smooth curves have helped, I don't think we need bother him any more. Do you agree?
