Dear Knowledgeable Ones, I daresay we are all learning things we didn't know about mounting lace! You've convinced me I do need to spend the time to actually sew the lace onto suitable fabric, and to use archival materials, and to not let lace touch the glass! I will go and un-mount a couple of pieces right away!
