> Hello All! Happy Thanksgiving! I am writing with the hope that someone can
help identify the source of a beaded lace bracelet. Our guild taught
lacemaking techniques to Girl Scouts using a similar bracelet in October.
After our positive experience with the Scouts, we decided to donate our idea
to IOLI. Before doing so & upon closer inspection of the file, we noticed
part of a name, that might be Debra Jenny, near pictures of sample bracelets.
We do not have the original source material & do not know whether this is a
copyright pattern or who worked the samples. Our source page seems to have
been consolidated/copied & it was part of a collection of files that was
donated to us. One our members enhanced the bracelet by creating a button
start, increase/decrease rows & a macrame loop closure. Other members helped
by working samples & refining these additional features. While this "new"
bracelet bears little resemblance to the "Oneida lace--summer 2008" item, we
have m!
> ade numerous inquiries thru IOLI members to preclude any copyright issues.
So far, we have come up empty handed. If anyone on Arachne can help, we would
be most thankful. Sincerely, Susan Hottle, Palm Beach Gardens, FL USA
