Very best wishes, Brian, for your 'retirement' I, too, have just turned 80 -- obviously 1936 was a Vintage Year!!!!! Good pre-war quality!!!!!
Your bobbin collection, and all your writings have been wonderful, and I am sure all Lacemakers will join me in saying Thank You for your efforts to help keep our craft, and it's wonderful history, alive, I hope all Lacemakers and their families are safe from the extremes of weather the planet is having at the moment. Here Down Under there have been the most terrible storms and floods - a 2000 km storm along the East coast - yes 2 thousand km long storm! Terrible flash floods etc. We, here in Melbourne missed them so are safe, but Sydney copped a terrible battering., as did Brisbane (Qld), right down to Launceston (in Tasmania) We saw, on TV news the tornados in USA. Just terrible. Regards from Liz in Melbourne, Oz, [email protected] - To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [email protected].
