It has been so nice to receive your support following my note to you all. One person has volunteered to edit and chase me up to complete the "Dictionary" so today I am working on it. My original intention was to publish it in the normal way, but a better way would be to put it into the Public Domain on the internet and I am very comfortable with that. This means I can illustrate the dictionary to a much greater extent as I do not have to worry about publishing costs! Yes I have hundreds of bobbins illustrated but not one with a Biblical inscription. something like "Thou shat not steal" or the myriads of other inscriptions there are from the Bible. Is anyone willing to send me a picture of such a bobbin .. P L E A S E ? :) Sharp focus is the main requirement as I can pretty well do the rest in Photoshop. Good light is a help. Reasonably high number of pixels but not a huge number. Size.. I usually start with about 6 inches in length. I am thinking even a good quality mobile phone pic might do the job. [ I have never experimented with that] Get reasonably close say 12 to 20 inches. Yes, most of the inscription should be showing, but that might not be totally possible. Can you help? Thank you. I suspect I will be making other requests as I go through. I am up to the "Bs". I hope the list might be able to help! Oh yes, you should know it will sometime be on the internet.
