I agree with Nancy. I used this pattern, (gulp), almost 19 years ago to make not one, but two gowns for two grandsons born in December, 1998! Since they were boys, the stocking was more predominate than the lace, but they had lace around the neckline and on the sleeves.
I hope to live long enough to see them on my great-grandchildren!
