Jeri!  Thank you for posting this!  I have been looking for heavier silk threads for a project that took form at the recent Ithaca Lace Days. I took a class from Laura Friesel in design that was wonderful.  So many ways to approach lace when designing a picture, and she was full of excellent ideas.  If she does another class, I highly recommend her.
