G'day Jenny,

wanted to use torchon ground with gimp writing words like Love, Hope, Joy.
My problem is that I am not sure how or even if gimp can do cursive writing
- can you direct me to a book, website or person who may have the alphabet
and or words already sorted out?

I could do it but haven't tried for many years now. I know I used the classic point ground grid of 53 degrees. Of course the finer the grid, the more leeway you have in moving the gimp. All you do is print out the grid, then do your writing in 2B pencil on this grid making changes with a rubber until you've got it right. I probably would rule horizontal lines to ensure accuracy unless the writing is on a curve of course. Then you can add whatever edging you want around it.
Just go for it Jen. I'm sure you will
