Thank you Antje for posting a link to your Rauma article. Several online resources related to Rauma lace came up in my earlier search, but I hadn't seen yours. It looks like a picture postcard place to visit & it seems that they are doing some lace-related municipal installations. Janis, thanks for referring to your book title so I can look for a copy thru the library. Making several samples would be great--but I've got to get "number 1" finished first! LOL. As you know, I'm frequently in over my head so I need to start simply then step to the next challenge. By emphasizing specific lace types at each location, I hope there will be some "aha" moments at our exhibits this year. Thanks again for adding to the body of knowledge to make this work.
