Oh dear, Jenny, that was a naughty session by Merlin!
I thought my previous cat was enough of a nuisance that she liked to sleep on the lace pillows. I solved that by making her one of her own out of builders' foam. Present cat has now stopped pulling pins out, but she spent a year removing pins from pillows and pin cushions and lining them up in parallel rows on the table.
