You certainly have Jenny in so many ways. I have had lots of help and lovely people with one or two which upset me a little but I am still here like you almost 12 years later and still love my lace making. My brain fatigue and other stuff has slowed me down quite a bit from the early days but I think I am still managing to try out some different pieces which I could only gaze at in wonder back then. I am working one of the pieces in a bangle with beads for my daughter and am feeling very happy with the choice of colour and the way the beads I have chosen are looking. Her sun catcher will be fit for her window soon I hope. After a tough 18 months I feel I am coming out of a difficult phase and the lace is proving its usual therapeutic benefit.

Going through an old HD I came across my original email to Arachne way back
on 22 Feb 2005 !! OMG, hard to believe it has been 12 years - how my
knowledge has grown since then and to be honest the replies to that opening
email started me off perfectly so if any newbies want to read some of them
(seems to be emails pre 27 Feb 2005 are missing on the archives) .

My finishing paragraph read "Enough questions for my introduction email, and
I promise that as I learn the art I will return the favour of newbie
assistance multi-fold."
I hope I have lived up to my promise.
