One of my many hobbies is machine embroidery and I found a company making designs that look very much like bobbin lace. Often the digitizers call a floral design Lace when it isn't, but many of the patterns at https://www.advanced-embroidery-designs.com/ are the closest I've seen. Search for free standing lace then bobbin lace ont he site. I've used one of them so far and I was impressed. I wanted to put it on the side of a tote bag. Knowing it would get a lot of wear, I wanted it to be durable. It has done well. I thought this might be of interested based on the previous discussion of designing your own machine lace.
