Hi fellow Arachnids, If the lace has ever been starched in the past these age spots could be from weevil poo from the weevils attracted to the starch. They are very difficult to get rid of (the spots, not the weevils which get killed when the lace is washed. Look through the Arachne Archives for washing instructions. These have been discussed a number of times.
Hope that helps, Joepie from overcast East Sussex, UK Sent from Mail<https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=550986> for Windows 10 Subject: [lace] "age spots" Hello fellow spiders, Could someone explain to me what causes "age spots" on lace? the brown spots?
