Hi fellow Arachnids,

If the lace has ever been starched in the past these ‘age spots’ could be from
weevil poo from the weevils attracted to the starch. They are very difficult
to get rid of (the spots, not the weevils which get killed when the lace is
washed. Look through the Arachne Archives for washing instructions. These have
been discussed a number of times.

Hope that helps,

Subject: [lace] "age spots"

Hello fellow spiders,

Could someone explain to me what causes "age spots" on lace? the brown
spots?

What is the actual chemical basis for them?

<........?
.....>

Any other information I should be asking for?

Thank you!
