Thank you Sue for posting the poppy info! There are lots of great patterns on the site. Sorry to say, my knitting & crochet skills are even fewer than my bobbin or needle lace skills. To Robin's point, is there a suitable bobbin lace poppy pattern? Wikipedia says that species poppies have between 4 & 6 petals. I have a Mirecourt flower & a generic flower pattern & wonder if either would work (maybe red variegated thread?) or if there is a better option? It would be my pleasure to make one after I finish making lace for the holidays. Any suggestions from the experts? Sincerely, Susan Hottle, USA
