Good Morning All,

I first learned Lace by Correspondence, the text of which became "Introduction
to Lacemaking" by Rosemary Shepherd, and I had several preschoolers at the
time.

Now, 34 years later, I am finding the samples very useful when demonstrating,
makes an impression - early samples and I had preschoolers at the time. They
are worked in Perle 8 and are coloured which is also an advantage.

When some Kosova refugees were temporarily housed in Australia, one lady made
me a small mat, bottle green in Knotted Needle Lace, which was sewn onto a
plain square for a quilt.

In my "one day box" is a plan for a white on white (cream on cream also works)
quilt, would also be a good way to give function to samples.
