In the Smithsonian Museum collection in Washington DC there is a well used Bucks pricking without holes pricked for the ground. It was used in the 1860s by a lacemaker who had made lace in Ipswich during the late 1780s and early 1790s. She used very fine threads for the simple Bucks edging. I have reconstructed it.
