Thank you to everyone who responded to my starching question! Apologies that I couldn’t reply individually, I’m up to my ears in bobbins but I really do appreciate it.
I have come to the conclusion that the best idea for this project is to use magic sizing rather than starch, so the piece has more body but isn’t too stiff. This way hopefully the silk will not lose it’s sheen, as I’m only spraying the back side. Thank you again!
