I was at the museum yesterday. They told me that the mayor of Clinton
had brought Corey Booker to the museum and showed him the Carriage of
Lost Love and that Corey was very interested and appreciative. Corey
Booking is one of our two senators from the State of New Jersey.
Also, they said that they did some analysis and had determined that
5000 people have visited the museum since the Lace, not Lace show
opened in September. While this includes people who came for classes
and yoga, these attendees often look at the exhibits. So, it would
appear that the goal of exposing contemporary fiber art made in lace
techniques to the general public is succeeding.
