It is amazing how protective some people can be regarding their pet subjects.
This includes some authors who cannot accept that they can be mistaken.
Personally I prefer to know if something is wrong, then I can put it right
before reprinting.

There are none so blind as those who will not see. In 1738 was used by
Jonathan Swift in his Polite Conversation and in Works of Thomas Chalkley.
1713 I wonder how many of Swift,s followers discount Chawkley.
