Good Morning, This morning I received four pics from my son, taken on and sent from a mobile phone. He works for an Armenian School in Northern Sydney as groundsman, bus driver, other non teaching jobs and was asked to go as one of the adult supervisors with a group of Yr 10 (about 16 years old) students.
Would have been nice if there was more magnification of the technique but I guess for the preservation of the article that was not allowed. When he started talking about going I gave him a handkerchief I had done an edging from Elena Dickson's book. The email heading was "Armenian cross stitch" - should be grateful he took the time to take the pics I guess. Do not engage in any of the other lines of communication, only email and a couple of special interest lists like Arachne so unfortunately cannot share them with you. One large round mat, I recognise the technique, but a ? lizard, ? platypus is worked differently.
