To help plan my trip to Europe next year, and the OIDFA Congress, I've been
looking for lace events and lace museums.  So far I have Rauma, Finland,
Vadstena, Sweden, and Tonder, Denmark on my list.
1. Do you know of another place in Scandinavia with lace interest?
2. How do I contact someone in Vadstena, Sweden to find out if they are having
a Lace Day near the end of June next year?  They did in the recent past but I
can't find anything on the internet about next year.  If they are, I'd like
to time my trip so I could attend. I tried contacting the lace guild page:
http://www.swevskaspetsar.se but cannot get a message through.  It is a
pattern sales page but may be closed.  Suggestions, anyone?
Lace wise -- I'm setting up new patterns on my two travel pillows so they will
be ready for next year.  I'm also starting a Russian collar and various
Christmas ornaments.  At my Lace Day, I got an old pricking of a round doily
with a heart in the center.  No picture or notes so it will be a challenge to
figure out how to make it. So, lots of projects to keep me busy this winter.
