Now I wonder if we should feel sorry for the poor ebay seller, who
does not know the first thing about lace.... I remember selling a
plate belonging to my Mum on Ebay, and getting around 10 messages
saying I'd got the wrong bird!! (It was written in German, and Chris
didn't know the English...) I replied nicely to each one in the same
hour, and then forgot to change the listing!!
I'm covering a split divider pin at the moment - the head fell off!!
I'm taping it up and then making a new head for it in felt and
embroidery stitches. Got the instructions out of an old Lacemaker
magazine! My knots don't look like the one in the photo though....
Oh well, not everyone is good at everything. It's been a long week.
Pleased it's the start of a new one now!! (Wonder what I'm good at....)
