I know that there is a PVA glue here in the US. I believe it stands
for Poly Vinyl Adhesive. I would assume that is what they are talking
about because it would adhere well to polyfoam and other foam type of
items that would be common to use for pillows. I used it for attaching
batting to foam for my chair cushions when I redid my comfy chair. It
was in a spray can but they had it in bottles also.

I would ask at your local hardware store. They should have something like it.

The UK terms/names don't mean anything to me, in the
USA. I use the common white paper/wood glue that
dries clear. One brand name is Elmers, but there are
others in various stores. Does this sound like the
glue you call PVA?

I've used it to glue felt to the bottom of foam
pillows, and to glue trim. It sticks to wood, fabric,
foam....everything I use to dress a pillow.

Whatever you do...Don't use hot glue. It makes very
deep holes in a foam pillow. I know!! I only did it
once!! <G> That was in the very early days of my lace
career.
