Dear Andrea,

I don't think I can help you. The patterns Jo mentioned, were made
from book illustrations for children. In Holland they are quite
famous, Jip and Janneke, but they are not wearing traditional
clothing. Indeed they are not on either my website or my blog,
because they are made quite a long time ago. I have only one piece
myself, because they were made by our lace group. They are showing
the seasons, winter, spring, summer and autumn.

In the Netherlands we have several types of traditional clothing, not
only the one from Volendam, which is the most known. OIFDA published
a booklet on the "Volendammer hul", the cap of the women from Volendam.
I don't know of lace patterns of boy or girls in this cloting in
lace. So i am afraid you have to draw them yourself. If you need a
good picture, I can have a look for a card, showing them clearly.

Best regards,

Gon Homburg
Amsterdam
