I went to the lace shop a few years ago, if it's the same one that is... the one I went to was on a little street just off the square where the clock tower is... (the tower with all the steps!!)
Working on a piece of torchon at present with lots of spiders in it!! Good practice for spiders... I still think my favourite filler stitch so far is roseground!
