I am getting ready to do a hearts and roseground garter pattern I found (not sure where again sorry...) and I will probably do it in 60/2 white linen. I know the bride well, and she needs something a bit durable :) I have till June, but I want to get started right quick. I might add color to the hearts since her wedding colors are blue, green and white. I am not sure though.... I am also getting ready to try and attack rose ground with my friend, Althea. We got through the spiders pretty well (after the AH-A moment kicked in *Grin*). She is finishing up one more bookmark with spiders and then well try something new :) I've been using The Torchon Lace Workbook by Bridget Cook. So far Althea is getting pretty good at it :) Makes me doubly happy as she is currently renting a room from me, so we can lacemake a lot in the evenings while my DH plays video games. It makes for a rather odd scene I am sure....Two happy lace makers and the sounds of lazerfire and explosions and male testosterone in the background :P (he plays online, so when the guys get to chatting during the game, they can get pretty silly...it is like listening in to a "rooster" party!)
