Hello Alex and All,

Reticello ( we in Italy call it with the final "o" ) is , as far as I know,
a cut work. It is made cutting and pulling thread from fabric. Then, the
empty squares are filled with  motifs.

Punto in aria is worked without a foundation of fabric.
It was mostly geometric at the beginning but, later, it evolved into more
floral motifs.
