First of all wash it to see how much of the staining you can get out and what colour it really is.

Then use it as you wish. It's not especially old, fragile or rare so use it and enjoy it and if it means cutting it then so-be-it. It was made to be used.

I have three and a bit yards of the top one and 10-11 yards of the bottom one. What do I do with it? I was going to use it in dressmaking but if it's hand made I think I would be better making a pricking from the lace and working individual lengths to make the garment I wanted.
