I am working a 's Gravenmoer piece from the book "Kant uit Vlaanderen en 's
Gravenmoer", pages 112 and 113. It is a semi-circular design and features
seven stylized trees outlined by gimp.

I am at the start of the largest tree that features the "Duitse plaatje". It
is made with cloth stitch throughout but, while working from left to right,
you pin at every thread and move one pair around the pin - I think. Working
from right to left is as usual - I think. There are instructions on page 87
but I cannot follow them! The only other pattern in the book that has this
stitch is the bookmark on page 140. It is not shown in "The Book of Bobbin
Lace Stitches" by Cook and Stott.

I would appreciate hearing from anyone who has been able to master this
stitch.
