Dear Spiders, Many of you are too young to remember when Alison had The
Lacemaker Lace & Needle Art supplier based in Edmonds, Washington. She
later sold it to Tracy in Warren, Ohio. Alison, I have kept your last
catalogue, and I bought your old copies of IOLI Bulletins, 1971 - 1982.
I know, at my age and with my physical health, the day will come when
I'll say, "It is Time." Blessings to you. You were at the forefront in
supplying the needs of beginning lacemakers, and I salute you! Betty Ann
Rice in Roanoke, Virginia USALacemaker since 1977. On 09/04/11, Alison

you for all the kind notes I have received from
lace list lacemakers, and thank you also to those who are helping me
clean
off the book shelves by bidding on my eBay items. My DH said last night,
"You know, you don't HAVE to sell these things," but it's time, and I
can't
imagine my children being faced with the task. I have made some wonderful
discoveries while sorting and cleaning, I must say! So it's been a good
thing.
