I have been following this thread with some interest. This email list
is great and bring lacemakers from across the world. I have been a
member sin the Mid 90's OK so it does not carry pictures but in most
cases there is a link to a website or utube and that has been great.
It is good to learn of other sites/email lists that we can join up to if
we want more pictures that is fine to. However, we do not all wish for
an all singing and dancing piece of software when what we have works fine.
There was also someone criticising the facebook page called bobbin lace
for allowing something not quite correct on it. I happen to be the
person who set the group up and as far as I am concerned it is for
people who make lace to come on and discuss and show their lace - it
does not have to absolutely correct ie only bobbin lace - I do wish
people were not so pedantic - let us all enjoy our lace and others lace
no matter which group/list we belong to. also spread the word that
there are these places about to visit.
