Living on the edge of beyond, has made me appreciate Arachne tremendously
over the years. I have not missed pictures as there are industrious souls
on Arachne who surf the net and then post links to the most beautiful lace
one can imagine and other lace related articles. If I recall correctly
people have also been helped through scanning lace problems in designing or
understanding and sending the scan to members who have offered help to solve
problems. Then of course there is Laurie's Lace News which adds another
dimension.

My experience of facebook is that people write in SMS language and that
sometimes takes quite some time to decipher!! These lovely comprehensive
answers just do not appear on the social network - everything there has to
be short and sweet to suit the modern life style.

I will be devastated if Arachne should cease to exist.

By the way, my beautiful lace stamps from faraway France arrived safe in
sound in southern tip of Africa!! If it was not for Arachne, I would not
have known about them!
