I very rarely post but I had to tell you...
I've had my 7 year old granddaughter to stay and I was delighted to get her
making bobbin lace.
We made a highly prized silver snake with a purple strip down its back and
golden bead eyes.
While we were inside doing this (the weather outside was terrible) I said I
would do here lovely long hair.
I did two plaits going from each side of her forehead meeting up into a
plait down her back.
I said it was like making lace with her hair... she was then very concerned
that I would be putting pins in her head !!!
