At home I use a (I think) laptop table from Ikea called 'Dave' (or Dav?). It's about US$20, has adjustable height and a tilting top (if you so desire). It's a good size for all of my pillows, and being a triangular top, there's usually a little room on a corner to place stitch holders or pencils not being used. I like that it's pretty sturdy, but with the arrangement of the feet, tucks to the side in my lacemaking spot neatly. I've tilted it when using my cookie pillows on it, and I keep it flat when using my roller pillow.
When I'm out, I take my folding lace table that I bought 20+ years ago in Australia. No ties to Ikea, just a contented customer. Cheers, Helen, in damp Duvall, WA, where winter is hanging on with a firm grip. - To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [email protected].
