There was an article on Margaretenspitzen in a recent issue of PieceWork. One or other of the last 2 issues - maybe the annual 'lace issue'?
Funny this topic has popped up - a friend and I were demo'ing BL and tatting a couple of weekends ago and the annual Outdoor Quilt Show, here in town, and a lady stopped by who teaches micro macramé. I think her name was Annike de Groot? I'd have to double check. She stopped to see what we were doing out on the sidewalk, and got chatting - I guess she's taught at LPS before, so knew about us. Either way the demo was a hit - my friend's colourful quilt blocks trimmed with her tatting garnered lots of interest from the quilters, and we had a number of people stop by to say they were learning or had tried tatting. Only 1 or 2 'tatting ladies' this year :-) Cheers, Helen in Duvall, WA, where we're awaiting the return of the rain, which I hope will clear the smoky haze in the valley. - To unsubscribe send email to [email protected] containing the line: unsubscribe lace [email protected].
