Hi Michelle,

Don't know if you've found the Rocky Mountain Lace guild yet, but they're an
active group that meet in Lakewood (I think - meeting location has changed
since I left Denver in 2009), on the 2nd Saturday of the month (except for
august, when they take a hiatus due to State Fair and IOLI Convention).
They have a website, www.rockymountainlaceguild.org, and have members from
all over the state, and parts far flung. I believe one member has started
teaching a monthly beginners class. Dues are $15 per annum, and you get a
newsletter and library privileges amongst other things. There are plenty
who would be willing to help you learn BL, tatting, needle lace and beyond.

Hope this helps.

Cheers,
Helen, in frosty Duvall, WA, member of ALG, IOLI, RMLG and LPS.
