I have been interested in reading this, BUT my browser doesn't like it. It
keeps identifying the messages headed "Lace for Men" as junk - at least it
is putting them into the junk email box and telling me it has put them
there.
Interestingly, last night we had a program about Chatsworth House. One of
things that was shown was the long dining table all laid out for a meal with
3 sets of knives and forks. The fork tines were all points down (and the
crest was on the back of the fork) because when men (and women too, I
suppose) wore lacy cuffs the tines were turned down so that the lace cuff
didn't catch on the forks.
Malvary in Ottawa where we have a heat wave - 34c forecast for today with a
humidex of over 40c and a heat warning in effect for a third day - and again
for tomorrow.
