Form-X film was produced and sold in the US for many years and is no longer
available - at least, I cannot find it. The matte finish was the main reason
I used it, and I stocked it in light blue, orange, and clear. The film I
purchased at the last IOL conference in Salt Lake was terrifically expensive
(and I no longer offer to share it with my students!) They (and I) use blue
paper for patterns and the clear sticky film (used for lining shelves?) But
it is shiny and awful to work on with a strong light; I dull the surface
with a green scrubber pad.

For a serious project requiring many months, I prick a traditional pattern
on dark card and mark it with India ink and a Rapidograph pen. Takes
forever, but it will last through many repeats.

So if anyone wants to share the source for the lovely matte finish blue film
or share out a roll, do let me know.
