Sorry to tell you all that Nonie Skoyles, one of the founder members of Norfolk Lacemakers passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday night losing her battle with Alzheimer's that robbed a wonderful crafts woman of her ability to make lace, embroider, and many other crafts. She was my first lace teacher and I will be eternally grateful to her for her patience in teaching myself and many others bobbin lace, a craft that has kept me busy now for over 25 years. My sincere condolences to her husband and family.
