We already talked about this topic on IRC.

AFAIK not. I already thought about it, but due to this nasty bug in
PHP5 on amd64 before 5.2.6, and me not having managed to backport
5.2.6 to Etch, I have no working installation (well, none where Jabber
works) yet. And without that, I won't even start packaging.

Maybe I should try to set it up on a machine with Debian Testing
instead, but I also currently don't see the time for doing this.

(i.e. after my holidays), I might try to package laconica.

If anyone else wants to package laconica for Debian, please do it. I'm
not angry if I don't have to do that job. ;-)

Maybe someone should file a "RFP" (Request for package) bug for
laconica. There seems to be a demand for it. I'll try to do that
during the next few days unless someone else is faster. ;-)

                Regards, Axel
