Yep, I did it I'm afraid. You must have your syslog configured to show INFO level messages, which is quite a fierce setting - you might want to consider turning it down a notch.
In the meantime, it should only really log something if it fails to set the locale, which I'll sort out. The messages you pasted show it succeeding, so nothing to worry about.
