You didn't do anything wrong. The thing is, you're not logged into the other site. So the other site doesn't know who you are, so it doesn't know that you're already subscribed.am i looking completely stupid? if so, sorry. that's my problem:- installed laconi.ca at http://io3.ch - followed some users from other installations like identi.ca etc. (adding my profile url in the process), works great. now: when clicking here http://io3.ch/patsch on the icons of those I follow, i land on their profilepage. that's perfect, but: there the subscribe button says "subscribe" even though I already successfully have subscribed to them. any idea what i did wrong?
If you want to do some subscription management, try clicking the "subscriptions" link in your profile page, rather than clicking on people's icons in the subscriptions list.
It's a known, stupid bug. See http://laconi.ca/trac/ticket/159 . We have a good interface now for unsubscribing from remote users; I just need to fix the backend.any help? at the moment i can only add people. which is fine. but i have no way of unsubscribing... which, at least as an option, would be nice :-)
