I don't know what plans you do have for that directory... if you want
to translate it the best thing will probably be to include them in
gettext, or make different directories and send users to the right/
guessed one.

Anyway, I translated most of the files there in Italian. I'll probably
translate the remaining ones (im, privacy) before sunday. I'm not
going to translate openmicroblogging.txt since it's not linked from
the docs, it's a specification, and it's supposed to be for a
developers audience :)

I kept the same text, updated some links with Italian versions were
applicable, update the link for bugs (to point to Trac), removed
Pownce links (it died), added some OpenID examples (Flickr and Kelkoo
using Yahoo accounts), etc.
I had to change some wording here and there to make it easier or to
avoid using sentencies that would sound stupid in Italian.

I made it clear in the "source" page that the version running on my
site is the same as the original source except for translations, made
it clear that translations are covered by the same Affero GPL v3
license, and put up a link to a .tgz to download the translated docs
(since they are not available on http://laconi.ca ).

I will send another message here on the list when I'll complete the
translation. Feel free to get http://micro.fit-factor.net/doc/doc-it_IT.tgz
whenever you want and use it - it's AGPL after all :)
If you use it, credits somewhere in the site or sourcecode are not
needed but would be very appreciated.

PS, I kindly "ping" for giving a little developer priority to adding
missing strings to gettext, in order to complete the translation.
