Hi, everyone. I'd like to do a point release of Laconica this week, with
the following features enabled:
- Plugins and events
- New URL router
- Meitar's mobile interface
- Facebook and Twitter queue handlers
- More sidebar sections (see below)
I think there are also a few more bug fixes that will go into this release.
I could really use some help tracking down and fixing problems with the
new URL router. Primarily, the Net_URL_Mapper code doesn't throw extra
arguments in as query parameters, like the old common_fancy_url() code
did. So I need to identify places where we use query parameters and pass
them in a separate argument. AFAICT the queries we use are: page=N, q=N
(for search), and a few for OpenID and remote subscription.
Anyways, I need help with people clicking around and finding missing URLs.
I'd also like to put a lot more data into sidebars. A lot of the pages
have nothing in the sidebars, and this is a great place for more
interesting data and engagement to happen. So, Sarven and I made a list
of some great data to put in the sidebars, and I've added them to Trac.
This is a great week to help out -- pick a ticket, assign it to
yourself, and ask for a merge request when the work is done!
